Great Opportunities in Synthetic Biology

Top Financial Site PennyStockDetectives.Com Points Out Great Opportunities in Synthetic Biology

In a recent Penny Stock Detectives article, editor Danny Esposito reports on opportunities in synthetic biology, a revolutionary biotechnology that engineers and so rebuilds natural systems, imitating nature. Esposito reveals that there are biotech companies creating an artificial gene, with the only function of absorbing oil that has been spilled in the ocean, or creating a synthetic gene with the sole purpose of absorbing the harmful pollution that is emitted right from the manufacturer’s site. According to the editor, these are just few examples of the profits that can be made with synthetic biology.

In a recent Penny Stock Detectives article, editor Danny Esposito reports on opportunities in synthetic biology, a revolutionary biotechnology that engineers and so rebuilds natural systems, imitating nature. Esposito reveals that there are biotech companiescreating an artificial gene, with the only function of absorbing oil that has been spilled in the ocean, or creating a synthetic gene with the sole purpose of absorbing the harmful pollution that is emitted right from the manufacturer’s site. According to the editor, these are just few examples of the profits that can be made with synthetic biology.

“Currently, a biotech company in California is working on a way to inject artificial DNA into a person’s body,” notes Esposito. “This sounds sinister at first, but the biotech company is programming that artificial DNA to release a vaccine within the body to cure a disease. Imagine the revenue potential should the company succeed.”

We’ve been living with genetically modified crops for years, comments Esposito. This is more accepted, because it is a combination of existing organisms in nature. Synthetic biology goes a step further by creating an artificial organism and making it do what you want.

According to the Penny Stock Detectives article, one laboratory wanted to find a more efficient way to test drinking water. It created a synthetic gene that, when inserted in drinking water, lights up only when parasites are detected, Esposito observes.

Biodiesel is a green energy that is made from vegetable oil and animal fat. As reported by Esposito, there has been a very recent breakthrough by a biotech company: it inserted a synthetic gene that increased the output of biodiesel from animal fat by 300%. This is how synthetic biology goes from being revolutionary to profitable, says Esposito.

Of course, the other major goal of biotech companies is not to reproduce life with synthetic biology, but to reproduce organs, says Esposito. The waiting list for people needing kidneys and livers is long. Wouldn’t it be great if these organs could be synthetically produced by biotech companies, Esposito asks? He believes it would save more lives and biotech companies might be able to create particular techniques to tailor the organ to each individual person, reducing the chances of rejection.

Despite the possible moral hazards of synthetic biology, the benefits to both humanity and the economy are too great to pass up, according to Esposito. He feels that exciting research by both biotech companies and big pharmais leading to revolutionary discoveries that could mean big profits for investors who are in from the ground up.
